| | Bioaugmentation process involves the addition of certain specific micro organisms to the system to enhance the overall metabolism process. The concept is based on the fact that there are Biologically Degradable Solids within the Waste Water. Biological Treatment generally involves the use of intrinsic bacteria which are present in the Waste Water. They are usually present in very small numbers and may or may not be able to biodegrade a specific contaminant. The indigenous population may act but not quickly enough to prevent the spread of the contaminant. If a rapid response is important, the reliance on small numbers of the indigenous microbial population is not appropriate. The solution for all these problems is by using advance biotechnology via Bioaugmentation.

| Biorganic cultures are specifically developed
microbial population to achieve the maximum
degradation and oxidation while able to bear
the extreme of temperature, pH values and
shock loads.
Biorganic is available in wet concentrate
bacterial formulations having 56 strains of
bacteria. They are available in 5kg, 50kg
and 100kg P.E. Carboys
The effluents from industries and domestic
Wastes have been analyzed and a combination
Of microbes and biochemical accelerators are processed in a specific proportion, designed to treat the effluent.
Biorganic Cultures can degrade toxic and tough compounds, oxidizes the waste into water and gases and synthesis into new cells
Organic Waste +O2+Bacteria ------» CO2+H2O+NH3+Energy
Organic Waste+O2+Bacteria+Energy ------» C5H7NO2 (New Cell Tissue)
Applications
- Sewage treatment plants
- Textile and Dye House Industries
- Food Industries
- Dairy Industries
- Meat Processing Industries
- Tanneries
- Common Effluent Treatment Plants, etc.
Advantages
Biorganic cultures have been formulated to degrade toxic compounds that would otherwise overpower naturally occurring bacteria. They make system operate better, improve conditions in problematic effluent treatment plants.
- The treatment is eco-friendly and conducive to ISO:14000
- It reduces or avoids the dependence on chemicals
- It reduces the 'Hazardous Waste" by 30 - 40%
- It reduces the overall treatment cost
- It improves the quality of treated water
It has been seen that by using Biorganic texile and dyeing industry has been able to reduce the consumption of coagulants by 50% >>>> Case Studies......more...
