BRIEF ELECTROLYTIC PROCESS DESCRIPTION |
ELECTROLYSIS IS A TECHNIQUE OF THE PASSAGE OF ELECTRICITY THROUGH EFFLUENT TO BE TREATED. THE CURRENT DESTABILISES DISSOLVED COLLOIDAL PARTICLES AND ALTERS THE CHARGE ON SUSPENDED PARTICLES PERMITTING THEIR COAGULATION, FLOATATION AND SEPARATION. The action of Electrolysis generating Hydrogen and Oxygen, moves the coagulated and suspended particles to the top, where they are skimmed off the surface and removed

STORMIX Aerators (5 H.P.) are installed in 2 (background) of the 3 Tanks. The Foreground Tank has a Aspirator (7.5 H.P.) Not seen. Notice the difference in colour, reflecting Bio Mass.

They are highly energy efficient and rate of transfer of Oxygen / H.P., in aBioaugmentation Plant surpasses any other aerator.
It is dependent on the air intake rate, which varies as per the motor submergence. At normal submergence of 0.70m, the air intake capacity (for a 5 H.P. Aerator) is about 80m3/hr. Its release in form of micronised bubbles imparts about 210-215 Kg oxygen / day under normal ETP conditions.
The unit is specially engineered forBioaugmentation applications, with improved and deeper reaching mixing currents.
The submersible aerators are installed with help of SS 304 frame & large PE floats. The motor / propeller assembly is totally submerged and generally at a submergence of 0.7m. The high speed propellers create turbulence in the liquid creating a vortex, where atmospheric air is sucked in through air intake pipes. This air is released in the highly turbulent zone, causing micronisation of air bubbles. This activity results in very high oxygen transfer rates.
